ColourPop Wild Child 9-Pan Pressed Powder Palette is a new, darker neutral palette that includes four matte shades, one sparkly shade, two pearly shades, one pressed glitter, and one sparkly matte. It had a good range of depth and some contrast between undertones, so for those who have been looking for darker, warm-toned neutrals, this is one to consider. I felt like most of the mattes and shimmers (excluding Fierce) were really some of the brand’s best in awhile.

Spotted is a light, orange-brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was lightly powdery in the pan, but it had nearly opaque color coverage that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out easily along the edges. Herd to Get is a medium-dark, richer brown with warm, reddish undertones and a matte finish. Feisty is a deep brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish.

Fierce is a brighter, medium copper with strong, warm orange undertones and a sparkling finish. Lashes is a medium-dark brown base with flecks of gold, bronze, and copper glitter throughout. Grasslands is a medium brown with moderate, warm undertones and flecks of gold micro-sparkle over a matte finish.

Ground Crew is a medium, coppery brown with warm, more orange undertones and a matte finish. The eyeshadow had opaque color payoff that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out with ease.

Close Up is a medium-dark, rosy bronze with warm undertones and a pearly sheen. The texture was smooth, lightly creamy, and dense without being too thick or too firmly-pressed into the pan.

Icon has a blackened-brown base with muted, more olive-bronze pearl throughout. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that was denser but not overly firm in the pan, so it picked up well with a dry brush and had good, even adhesion to bare skin.
