Color Pop Mint will be a 9-disc powder palette, and is a new 9-disc palette featuring a blend of aqua and green shades. The palette consists of five matte shades and four shimmer shades. The matte has good pigmentation and is harder to mix with and harder to use with Chill Factor. The flash has a looser pressure, which makes it harder to dry, but is easy to use for those who tend to use a wet brush or fingertip smear.

The formula in here is quite different from the formulas in their earlier palettes (Blue Moon, Oooh La La, Just My Luck, etc.). The shimmers are really soft and loosely packed. I’m not used to that with ColourPop. While I travel with most of my other ColourPop palettes, I wouldn’t recommend travelling with Mint to Be as it seems fragile.

The shimmers in here apply better with a finger application or a damp brush. Mintea, Mojito Mami and Freshman apply sheer, but are buildable to full coverage if you pack them on. They’re very pretty shades. Play It Cool, however, is not buildable and acts as more of a sheer topper shade. The fallout is pretty intense for the shimmers as well.

I enjoyed most of the mattes in here. The only one I’m not a fan of is Chill Factor. It applied patchy and I had difficulty blending it. Instead of using it to deepen my outer corner I’m just smudging it into my lashline. I had no real issues with Get Fresh, Seltzer, Ice Cold or De Menthe. They had kick-up, but they built up to opaque coverage, blended smoothly and wore well. Ice Cold was my favorite matte in here, and Mintea my favorite shimmer. Gorgeous shades!

The palette comes in a mint coloured plastic compact with a mirror within the lid. The palette includes five matte shades and four shimmers with mostly cool undertones but there are some warm undertone shades. It can take you from a soft wash of colours to a vibrant dramatic look.

I went for a more dramatic look below but I definitely will be using it this spring for a softer fresh look. The mattes are highly pigmented and applied evenly. To achieve the pigment I got from shade Get Fresh on my skin tone without a white primer is amazing.
